Warm and sheltered Patio

  • We just keep coming back. We have been renting Killearn every summer since 2006. Our family has grown up holidaying in the Port and in Killearn and still want to keep coming back. The cottage is very comfortable and the Port is friendly and beautiful. Ewan, Edinburgh

Perfect base for relaxing or exploring northern Scotland. Stay in Sep 2016

Wish we could have stayed longer! Great for relaxing, walking, exploring. The cottage is nicely equipped and comfortable for our three couples. Lots of days trips within an easy drive.

Just back from a lovely week at Killearn Cottage. The house is a great size and very well equipped. Very clean and has everything you need. The Anta pottery is a added bonus. Great location, sea view and perfect for walking everywhere in the Port. We had to use the heating a few times but the cottage warmed up really quickly. Communication from Christiane before our stay was excellent and she made us feel very welcome. Michael S. August 2016

Tranquil Break by the Sea! Having stayed several times at this cottage, most recently in January 2019, I would highly recommend this cottage. I have always found it well presented and clean. The kitchen is fabulously stocked for cooking whilst in the village. There are great views of the sea from the living room which makes for a great spot to watch the sunset or the rain fall. Located in the centre of the village we found it a great base to explore the village as well as further afield. There is so much to see in the area and it is well located for exploring on the west coast as well. Will definitely be back for a peaceful break in the future. On comment would be that a bench in the front to take in the sun and sea view would be a great addition! Highlnddncer, London

Very clean, quiet and well equipped little cottage. Apr 2015, December 2016, December 2017
We've just spent a week in killearn cottage with our 3 kids. It was in a great location, just a 2 minute walk from the shop, park, beach and little village pub. It's a small little village with not a lot to do but if it's a nice quiet time away with your family or friends then this is ideal. The cottage was well equipped and the care takers  were at the end of the phone I'd needed. The garden at the back is lovely and big which you don't see from any of the photos. We will definitely be back at this cottage again.
